The resounding success of this summer's workshop series was shared by the many who joined us and will sustain us long into the Fall and the Dreamtime of Winter!

These celebrations brought with them ringing new levels of Wisdom and empowerment to those who had the opportunity to journey to the Sacred Land of the Avalon Retreat Center.

The Return of the Sacred Masculine
June 20 to 22, 2008

This was the opportunity to stop & inhale the wisdom of the Sun's messages at a very powerful time of year: Summer Solstice. Through Shamanic ceremony, dance, song & ritual, we anchored the strength and empowerment of the Sacred Masculine. The Great Sun King returned!

The Sacred Marriage Within
August 22th to 24th, 2008

This was a weekend of profound alchemy and transformation. Participants were supported in manifesting the Sacred Marriage from within - a unification of the Divine Masculine and Feminine aspects via Shamanic ritual, drumming, song, play and crafts.  The ancient Wisdom of Dreaming and the Shamanic Board was shared, and then blended with the Teachings of the Plant Medicines and Astrology, thanks to the guidance of the Guest Facilitators and Wise Women who joined Seer and Shaman Gaisheda Kheawok in making this a truly remarkable opportunity to Dream the Dream Awake.

Medicine Wheel Summer Intensive
July 18th to 20th, 2008

Participants in this workshop each received their personal Medicine Wheel - a tool from the Seneca Tradition which describes the unique thumbprint of one's Soul and offers insights into the particular gifts and skills each personal brings to their journeys.

By working with the archetypes of colour, exploring the unique ARC Medicine Wheel Garden, dancing the crystal Labyrinthe, and receiving the Teachings of the Medicine Wheel, participants learned to apply this tool for personal growth and to move into deeper relationship with partners, friends and family.
