The One Heartbeat

The Whispering Song Drum Group is composed of eight women from various cultures and backgrounds. We have come together to the one heartbeat, the one song, the one harmony and the one purpose. Our songs - not performances - are prayers. From the rhythm of our hearts, through our voices, we pray for ourselves, our families and our friends.

We pray for the Earth Tribe, as we are not separate.

We have been called to the big drum not for competition, but for healing and strength. We are the life-givers, drumming out the first sounds that each one of us hears so deeply within our beings, before emerging onto this Earth plane - the heartbeat of the Mother.

We have been honoured to accompany Gaisheda Kheawok and the healing sound of her voice - with the Heartbeat and the Medicine Songs - at the opening of many ceremonies, events, and teachings around the GTA and surrounding areas. We are truly blessed to be able to carry and share this powerful Medicine with all those who are open to receiving it.
